Oh It's Good News!

I went to Popeye's for a quick lunch today and they did not screw up my order. They did forget the napkins, but let's not be picky.

Here's what I have to say. I know that drive-thrus are crowded at lunch. There are a lot of people cramming into a small place in a really short period of time. Mistakes are bound to happen, everytime at the Wendy's close to my office, but that's another story. The people in this places are for the most part, the most unskilled of our workforce and are generally pretty damn surly.

Anyhoo, the person that took my order clearly repeated my order to me, gave me the total and said, "Please drive around, sir." She actually said "sir". I was floored. Not only did she treat me like a respected person, she also smiled. Nice, professional, and thorough. This is someone who is not going to be at Popeye's much longer or will move into a managerial position.

All and all, it was a very positive experience. What say you?
