With the coming holiday, I thought that it would be a good idea to show some flag etiquette, because we take that stuff seriously down here in the South.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, NO!
I am trying to figure out exactly which one of the rules of flag etiquette that John McCain has violated with this Speedo. Good taste is NOT one of the few rules.
I think that I shall go with this one: The flag should never be used as a receptacle for receiving, holding, carrying, or delivering anything.
Read them and you decide.
Just so you know (and for palette cleanser) this is WRONG, too.
Please take the time to comment.

But the second example is not as bad, is it?
MUD, it is SUPPOSED to be.
But, dang.
How can something soooo wrong, feel so right?!
CL - quit feeling that girl...you're going to get fingerprints on your computer screen! dang!
As long as it ain't a real flag that's been cut up, it's OKAY!
But some are more OKAY than others. Obviously. Christina, don't try to fool us. We all know you're lusting over picture #1... ;)
Seriously, can you imagine someone so comfortable with their ugly body that they would gross out the whole world like that?
Andy, I am gonna guess that Speedo is NOT a cut up flag. Are you insinuating that is OKAY?!?!?!?
You'll have to ask Christina.
Hey dude, I like the new profile picture. The pink guitar is appropriate. Is that a Gibson 1275?
Ha, my word verification is "sopithy." Take that!
My apologies to Christina, but I can SO accept the second example as acceptable. The first should be banned everywhere BUT Moron.org HQ.
If you read the regulations concerning the handling of the flag and the respect due the flag, it's not to be used in advertising either. I understand TD's point, which by the letter of the regulation is correct, however, we're fighting an up hill battle on this issue.
It's a sad commentary that the most representative symbol of this great nation has been reduced to bikini's and used car ads.
Now, in light of this, I promise to change my desktop background to something other than the woman in the flag bikini, soon...ish
I'm with ya' CL...soon...
Double NYUK!!!! My word verification code is "dogbiter."
I don't know if I should be offended or not...
Oh, hells yeah! That pic is just HOT HOT HOT!!!
Dang, guys...heh
By the way, Skunk...I think the second pic is more than acceptable as well - her hair is almost RED! heh...
Christina, Bwahahahahahahaha! You are one heckuvagal.
Awww, shux... :D
