Thanks Paul...now I'm really kickin' myself. I'm wondering if the military has some kinda reverse "alternate reality" that lets old farts follow their children into the service.

Andy, I certainly did not mean to thoe the guilt trip on you. These guys are actually the husband and son of a friend of mine from high school. By the way, she is stark raving insane, too.
Paul...I was just joshin'. No guilt here...a regret, but not guilt.
And as to your friend's insanity...well, husbands and sons can do that to a lady. (I don't know personally, but I've heard of such) ;)
I'm at a point where I'm over the guilt; I'm just thankful to those who've served.
God Bless the US Military, and goddamn the spineless appeasers in Congress and the media.
