From yesterday's post, we got a really good attempt at re-writing events from a liberal perspective. The fact that the liberal piped up in the comments, solidifying my very points, was a textbook case of exactly how they operate. (and oddly coincidental, too!) Of course, liberals do not possess the marginal intelligence to understand what is actually happening, so they double down on their ignorance. They PROVE your point by doing exactly what you said that they have always done.
Again, liberals have one basic ideology and that is maintain a master-slave plantation. Everything they do is geared toward achieving that. And they accomplish those goals by repackaging the very same ideas over and over again. When it is pointed out time after time exactly what they are doing, they project THEIR behavior onto normal people.
To argue with a dyed in the wool liberal is futile. They do not possess even a five year old's grasp of mathematics, science is something to be used to further their agenda and data manipulated in every way to prop up their indefensible points, and history is simply beyond their grasp.
The history link is especially interesting to me because it combines that wonderful libtard president, Lyndon Johnson, talking to that wonderful libtard mayor, Dick Dailey I, about the riots caused in Chicago when the Democrat Party enlisted James Earl Ray to kill Martin Luther King. Of course, there are many, many conspiracy theories about what really happened in King's murder and every single one leads straight to the DNC. Facts, who the fuck needs them if they are a liberal?
In related news, there is this additional DHS report out that alarmingly points out that "rightwing" hate group enrollment is exploding across the nation. Funny that every single group included in this report is considered "rightwing." Included in that very report are the "rightwing" hate groups, The New Black Panther Party, many chapters of The Nation of Islam, numerous black separatist groups, and The Israelite Church of God in Jesus Christ, which seeks to dispute nearly everything in The Bible. These groups are considered "rightwing" for the sake of hiding all of the far-left fringe groups of violent morons.
We are just seeing more of the very same ideology from the Democrats/liberals. They will never change.
Of course, while normal people continue to take some of their valuable time to actually post the truth about the stuff going on, we have failed miserably to get the news out to our friends and family effectively. Oddly, there are those people on the web that do have powerful presence and are actively trying to thwart our every move. Have you ever heard of the company, The Google? Wow, leftists doing everything that they can to control the media message? Whudda thunk that shit? And getting even further intertwined with that company might make for some difficult times. But dammit, they have such good toys, too!
When one of the biggest backers of the current administration is a convicted criminal, there is no telling where this government might lead us. Please keep in mind that the HUGE majority of criminals are Democrats. You just cannot escape that fact.
And when you have a ready-made army of willing dupes to actively push your leftist agenda, there are few ways to get around that. It never hurts when your entire agenda is meant to buy as many votes as you can possibly buy. People like FREE! stuff. Too bad that FREE! stuff costs us normal people (read, NOT DEADBEATS) so much damn money.
Doesn't your bullshit meter go into the red when the very same Democrats crop up over and over again? And again? And again? Folks, we are talking about generations that they keep cropping up, ALWAYS on the very same side, they NEVER leave the Democrat Party and ALL of their ideas are WRONG. Democrats are ALWAYS on the wrong side of any issue. You simply cannot deny it or if you do, you are a Democrat and WRONG.
And the Democrat/Liberal tactics are tried everywhere and are ALWAYS wrong.
Again, when Democrats/Liberals are confronted about their ridiculous ideology, they can never bring any salient point, they can only promote violence. And when their ideological brethren turn violent because they cannot win a battle of philosophy, they simply must project that violence upon their intellectual betters.
So, what is the Democrat/Liberal plan for the future since they cannot succeed by pushing what they actually believe? Of course, more insults and more violence. Such is always the case, why Hell, even the chief moonbat president says to bring GUNS with you to "debate" the normal people.
On the "healthcare" front, here is a good personal anecdote. True enough, it is one person's opinion, but that opinion solidifies a basic premise, or what Rosie calls a "given." Individuals are better suited to finding out what is right for their own lives. There is no way to possibly dispute the fact that when an individual is responsible for his or her own life, property, or family, they THRIVE. The inverse is true as well and has been proven over and over again. When an individual is forced against their will to perform for someone else, the results are catastrophic.
Face it, slaves in the United States were GIVEN a house, a job, medical care, food, and all the other things that Democrats/Liberals buy votes with today. You simply cannot separate the two things. In both circumstances the only thing that was denied was FREEDOM. And in both circumstances, the very ones that benefited were the ones wielding the whip. Liberalism IS slavery and the Democrats are STILL the very same folks that have always promoted slavery. The way that they actually continue to promote their same ideology is to keep their constituents STUPID and then keep giving them a carrot every now and again.
At some point however, their constituency will not own anything, but be underwater in debt. Then comes the whip.
It is working swimmingly, too.
Again, Democrats/Liberals are the slave masters, black and poor people become the slaves. What happens when all of those folks are dead and gone? The Democrats/Liberals' ancestors simply change the very name of what they advocate and lead the black and poor people's ancestors forever in their bondage.
And in the meantime, the Democrats/Liberals have to destroy any chance of that ever changing and they do that by promoting the very same ideology of destroying the higher paying jobs, but at the same time hiding the FACT that more and more people are losing their jobs.
Seriously, you just cannot make this shit up, folks.
Now, here is one of those RAAAAACIST Teabaggers spitting all over civil rights heroes.

TD,
One man, in this situaion, can not make a difference unless he can gain the masses...Remember animal farm!
So what's the difference between any tyranny enacted by the government and tyranny enacted by big business and the rich?
At least with the government, a citizen is an equal shareholder with his fellow citizen and has the ability to change government policy through constitutional means.
With big business and the rich, they are self-motivated and care very little for their fellow citizen.
The only way to prevent the destruction of freedom resulting from big business is to balance it out and regulate it by government.
Unless you want to be an anarchist.
"At least with the government, a citizen is an equal shareholder with his fellow citizen and has the ability to change government policy through constitutional means." (OSO)
Constitutionally?
America's CONSTITUTION served a SINGULAR purpose - to RESTRICT governmental action.
The 9th & 10th Amendments make that all too clear.
The HUGE difference between governmental tyranny and private sector abuse is that while the former effects ALL, the latter only impacts those who work for that concern.
A company like Walmart would NOT be a monopoly even if it out-competed all of its rivals and took 99% or more of the retail market.
It could only garner that market share by consistently delivering the products their customers desired at cheaper prices....and it would quickly lose that market share once it stopped doing that.
It WOULD, however, BE a monopoly IF government made it the sole authorized retailer, barring competition, as it once did with AT&T, or as the former USSR once did by making Armand Hammer its favored supplier, barring all other would-be competitors.
Suffice to say, I've always been convinced that there are almost no people in government qualified to regulate business. Few, if any of those in Congress have actually run a business and absent that experience you simply don't know enough about the subject.
The news media is as badly educated....if not even worse off.
When oil prices spiked a few years back, speculators were blamed.
I've invested/speculated in commodities for over two decades and for the last decade or so have made more money speculating than I have from my work over that same period.
But news dolts who blamed "investors" and "speculators" for oil's price rises were and are buffoons.
In my case, for the past twelve to fourteen years, I've religiously bought unleaded gasoline futures in February (just before the mandated "summer blends" kick in) and sold them in early to mid-May, as they spike at the start of the "peak driving season." Often that has made my entire year!
But news dolts even had my own sainted Mom deriding ME, for "helping raise the price of oil and gas for everyone else," when NOTHING could be further from the truth.
Speculators, like myself, merely look at the data and determine which ways they believe the prices on a given commodity will go...then they act ("bet" according to the misinformed) on that by purchasing "futures" of that commodity.
For every UP position (like my own on those unleaded gasoline futures) there must be a willing participant who believes those prices will go DOWN.
I've made a handsome sum off the rise in oil and natural gas prices, BUT I have NOT done ANYTHING to CAUSE such a rise.
Those that blame people such as myself, are like infants who after smacking themselves in the head, cry as though someone else hit them!
I can't help it if I'm smarter than 99% of those in our news rooms and most of our elected officials, that's NOT my fault, although I count on their dumbness and very often, profit from it.
SP, oddly, I never read Animal Farm. No lie. Help me out here.
OSO, the only thing required to bring down a great economy is to force people to do things for their fellow man. Their fellow man should do things for himself. Just eight years ago, the liberals were decrying legislating morality was offensive to them because to give money to Christian organizations to provide for the poor was a violation of the "establishment clause." Thanks so much for continuing to make the point that liberalism is idiotic.
And just because you do not want the FEDERAL government to confiscate an ever increasing portion of YOUR income and wealth does not make you an anarchist. By the way, anarchists in the United States march right along side the Communists. Because they are both by today's definition, LIBERAL. And by mine, STUPID.
"SP, oddly, I never read Animal Farm. No lie. Help me out here." (Paul M)
Animal Farm (http://www.amazon.com/Animal-Farm-George-Orwell/dp/B000SDI9Y8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1270077632&sr=8-1) is a GREAT read Paul.
It was fueled by George Orwell's disillusionment with Soviet Socialism. It pretty much outlines the inevitable contradictions of any regime that puts "equality" over Liberty (self-ownership/self-responsibility).
In it the animals on Farmer Jones' farm overthrow their owner and set up an animal-run regime based on 7 animal commandments, which the pigs (the brain-workers) eventually seek to exempt themselves from.
One of the prophetic parts of the book is how these tyrants use a form of double-speak to creates a bizzaro-world where up is down and down is up, such as "All animals are equal although some (pigs) are more equal than others."
"...the only thing required to bring down a great economy is to force people to do things for their fellow man. Their fellow man should do things for himself." (Paul M)
Absolutely and undeniably TRUE!
The modern welfare system proves that, the people most helpless are the "social workers," many of whom can't even change a tire, or boil water, BUT if that system were to be suddenly dismantled, even these most helpless members would "find a way to make it on their own."
No one should pay more than 30% TOTAL in taxes. Beyond that it's "TAX USURY."
Moreover,m the overwhelming bulk of the "disparity in incomes" in America is due almost entirely to the wide differences in cost-of-living in various areas.
Accountants and physicians, as well as teachers and police officers in NYC, San Fran and D.C. all earn more because the cost-of-living is much, MUCH higher in those areas.
A $100,000/year income in NYC is equal to a 72,000/year income in Atlanta, $73,000/year income in Albuquerque, New Mexico and $68,000/year in Greenville, South Carolina.
People shouldn't be PUNISHED based on where they live.
When Big Government regulates to the point O Bunch Of Oversights advocates, the results certainly do avoid anarchy; there was no anarchy once Lenin had control in Soviet Russia, or when Hitler got his grip firm in Germany. Government had and maintained control, at the point of a gun, with threats and intimidation, in having neighbors snitch on neighbors, and everyone was equally suspect to the government.
This is obviously what O Bunch of Oversights is advocating.
JMK, 30%? I would blow goats to get 30%, right now my total tax bill is over 60% because I am self-employed and actually MAKE money. As long as this bunch of ass-hats is running DC, they'll be lucky to see me make 10k this past year. Yes, ten THOUSAND. I am filing on less than that. Go figger.
Skunks, OSO has problems.
TD, you never read "Animal Farm?" Seriously?
Your post is quite Salient.
JMK: OSO is an Australian. He has zero stake in the future of America. Except he does not realize that if we fall, he will be a slave to others...but I reall don't think that would bother him much.
Heck, he probably already is a slave, but just doesn't know it.
I don't have all the facts on OSO, but I figure that he just loves to sit in his Momma's basement and jerk off on the rest of us that are still somewhat free.
He's a sad case. Worth your prayers for sure...I mean, Jesus died on the cross for him.
But, worth trying to reason with? Nah...
Andy, when we were in high school, 1984 was the one that we read. When I started this dumbass thing about reading a classic or history book between popular, current books, I bought 1984 and read it for real. It was cute, just like I remembered it.
I'll go pick up Animal Farm if my local Borders has not already burned it to make room for all the Michelle Obama ass-kissing books.
Goodness, why would anyone write a book about Michelle Obama unless it was to bore the shit outta everybody?
Nyuk! Yeah, I read 1984 myself when I was in High School. But, Animal Farm was forced on me when I was in Junior High. I'm actually glad I read it...and that the old crippled lady teacher that made me read it explained it to me. Those were the good old days...when old lady teachers could shove truth down your throat without fear of reprisal.
Animal Farm should be available for about a buck at any used book store, or $2 at Barnes & Noble.
Or, you can probably just get it at the libary if the Jackmalians haven't burned 'em all down.
All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.
Hey, maybe it is a book about Michelle...
Andy, here is the terrible part about being me, I cannot stand reading paperbacks. I buy hardcover on nearly everything I buy unless I plan on reading it again and again. Seriously, I could fill just about the whole Library of Congress. It is ridiculous. I am afraid to park my truck in the garage because of all the books stored in cartons in my attic over the left side of the garage.
Imma get it, though.
Paul,
I read an academic paper that correctly spells out the problem with the current state of the economy(and tax cuts wont' help).
To quickly summarize, when China and India entered the capitalism game the worldwide workforce more than doubled but at the same time capital stayed flat. Makes sense since all those Indians and Chinese were dirt poor (communism and socialism), as such they had no capital (human capital sure, but not market capital). So there you go, workforce doubles but capital stays flat...result--> falling or stagnant wages for the worldwide workforce.
Cutting taxes to zero won't help this or bring jobs back, only when capital increases will wages again increase. So for the next few decades until India and China build up adequate capital the whole economic thing will be very very rough.
Imagine it this way, say you go to sleep and when you wake up the next day there are two Pauls. What happens to your income? Yes, that's right it is immediately cut in half. And after a long while as you save and invest your lower income will capital once again get to a point where your income will rise with new incoming generating opportunities. But it will take a while to save and invest with 1/2 the income.
See this mess is out of gov't control (and cutting taxes to zero won't work either, atleast not in the short-term...short-term being the next 10-20 years), gov't cannot produce capital only free markets can generate capital. Even when they do (print money) the free market immediately discounts the newly printed money (inflation).
Roderick
Roderick, tax cuts ALWAYS help. If you cut them to zero, it would help exponentially. But, I get what you are saying.
One point, why do you think that the stock market is continuing to climb despite the fact that they are ZERO good things happening in the economy?
My guess is that money has to go somewhere and actually investing in capital improvements in your company is idiotic given who is running the show right now.
People that have money are certainly not just going to surrender it to the federal government without a fight.
Mark my words, Obama is going to be even more of China's bitch than Clinton was. Plant a garden, dude.
Don't forget the stock market is almost meaningless...if the stock market goes to Dow 20,000 is that going to bring jobs back? As you observed after Obama was sworn in, the stock market took off at the same time the real economy was crashing very hard. If this proves stock prices don't mean anything than I don't know what does...we were heading into a depression and prices went up??? Really??? Based on what??
Once stock is sold, then that is a different story but if the stock is not sold or traded for tangible goods/services then the price of a stock is meaningless. Equity has no intrinsic value until it is exchanged for something tangible (food, land, service, etc..), same goes for paper money.
I don't think ppl will fight the gov't, they just go underground. If ppl use equity as a form of currency (not direct gifting of equity because that can be taxed, just sharing in the development of something) then that is difficult to tax. You can't tax equity until it is valued...ie ability to be exchanged for something/cashed in.
Why fight? Save your energy by just lowering your target area.
Roderick
Lucky you, Paul: required reading in Jr High for me (since I'm older than all y'all) included both Animal Farm, 1984, Cannery Row, The Grapes of Wrath, The Red Badge of Courage, Cimmaron, The Martian Chronicles and one written by Kurt Vonnegut (not Slaughterhouse 5) that I can't recall the title of right now.
Libtard ideology was not successful in catching on with me.
Skunks, I guess I was lucky to not have to read all the stuff that some folks did, but I made a promise to myself to read all those books a couple of years ago. So far, of all the "classics," maybe two of them were even remotely interesting. Moby Dick was one of the worst books that I have ever had the misfortune to read.
Roderick, yes the stock market has become a very bad indicator of the economy in general, but the huge increase in the market does tell us that there is assloads of capital sitting on the sidelines until those folks find out exactly what is going to happen in the Age of Governing Idiots.
As far as fighting liberalism, it is impossible to even try to argue with a liberal because they do not have anything to argue. Their ideology is based on faith in their emotions, not any kind of concrete facts that can be discussed.
Y'know what the beauty of having read all those books is, Paul? Not one f***ing thing. I remember cricket crap about most of them ;) I remember the Martian Chronicles because I liked sci-fi back then; now, having sci-fi trying to run the government into the ground, it blows goats. So does AlGore. But we already knew that...he's a libtard.
Anyway, the reading of those books means squat to my income, lifestyle, and knowledge base. But perhaps to someone, having read those books means what I just said ;)
Skunkfeathers, it had just gotten to the point that I was reading nothing but philosophy and current event books. I made a decision to read the "classics" between each of the others. Then, when the "classics" sucked so bad, I modified my decision to include history.
I have yet to read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, either. But, I am reading a biography on Lewis Carroll right now, so maybe AAiW will come after that and then re-reading The Road to Serfdom.
"JMK, 30%? I would blow goats to get 30%, right now my total tax bill is over 60% because I am self-employed and actually MAKE money." (Paul M)
I agree....we haven't had a decent tax rate since about 1921.
Most working Americans ARE over-taxed!
Worse still, the current tax system burdens people based primarily on geographical location. Carpenters, teachers, construction workers, etc., in high-cost-of living areas, like New York City, San Francisco, L.A., etc., pay higher tax rates because wages, along with the cost-of-living, are higher in those areas.
$100,000/year in NYC is equivalent to $72,000/year in Atlanta, BUT the worker in NYC pays a higher tax rate simy because the cost-of-living (rents, food, etc.) are all higher in NYC.
The $250,000/year "rich" threshold covers many small businesses and self-employed people, who normally produce the bulk of the jobs in America. Over-burdening such people and entities is a prescription for "job-killing."
JMK, it is always refreshing to add someone to the conversation that actually thinks about stuff more in depth than the average bear. This blog is gradually adding commenters that do that and for that I am grateful.
I think that we are up to about 5 regular non-morons and about 30 non-regular non-morons.
Do you mean "non-regular," or "irregular?"
Nyuk! Yeah, I read 1984 myself when I was in High School. But, Animal Farm was forced on me when I was in Junior High.
