Drive-By Blogging - Site Future and Stuff

I have decided that the five year old theme on this blog must be updated. Do not be afraid, Charlotte, the #ff4500 color in the header is going to stay. It is as must a comfort food as the double neck Hello Kitty guitar icon made by JB. Some things must always stay the same. I have not yet decided what I am going to change, but I have been playing with some of the stuff on Blogger Beta and I think I am getting the hang of stuff. It is pretty simple. And further news might be in the works regarding this operation of this blarq.

Links....

Obama and a PONY!!!

Obama is going to open more land to oil drilling. But, at the very same time, remove the really vital land.

Matthew Modine wants us to HUG IT OUT with Osama bin Laden. Modine is fifty years old, by the way.

More DC Kill the Bill rally stuff.

Sarah Palin and her crosshair imagery is SKEERY.

Fannie Mae is falling apart at a record pace.

And in a strange turn of events, so is Freddie Mac.

And look for the cost of higher education to go through the roof since the federal government took over student loans.

Keith Olbermann's family came to the United States trying to get away from people like Marco Rubio. We call that "White Flight" these days. But, it seems really weird that Keith is a socialist and he wanted to get away from CUBANS.

More on Barry Obama's past and his huge legal problems
. Hello, national media?

Since the national media is LURVE with nationalized "healthcare" now, why are they in direct contradiction with the FACTS that they laid out last Summer? Or are they just proponents of huge government and fascism?

We must admit that the media is very bad at history. La Amistad.

Remember when HuffPo said that Sarah Palin was running on the MORE MENTAL RETARDATION platform in 2012?

Are you Catholic? Are you in the chronic stage of alcoholism? You want to move into this joint.

If you fit the above criteria, you certainly do not want to have these stairs in your house.

And remember when Classicaliberal guest posted for the first time here? Pray for C-L's Paw-in-Law. Do it now.

Please take the time to comment or click one of the 'Share/Save' buttons. DO IT NOW!

Garsh, it's going to be like re-arranging the living room and then trying to go to the kitchen in the dark for a drink of water. While it is familiar, I'll probably still stub my toe and cuss. :)

I have pretty much decided that everything is going to be in the same places because that works best for my phone. I just have to spruce things up. My site is looking dated.

LOL...a dated site. Sounds like trouble ;)

Keeping the header color, huh? Well...once a Vol fan, always a Vol fan.

Yeah, as you know, I recently rearranged the deck chairs on my Titanic. Traffic went through the floor!

Dude, are you taking suggestions? Because I have one, but don't want to speak out of turn. I mean, I'm probably the least qualified on the net to give suggestions, but...

Andy, I have no pride, offer away!!!

Okay...since I first started reading your blog (one of the first I ever followed), I have looked to it as a linkdump for info. I appreciate that you have a brain that can absorb zillions of posts, and pass along things of value.

I also enjoy your non-linky posts, too. So, brown-nosing done...

It is somewhat inconvenient to be taken off of your home page while following a link. Sometimes I will find that I want to spend more time reading one of the linked pages later, but forget to bookmark it.

Plus, your page has to reload each time a reader wants to return via the back button. It takes a while sometimes. It's probably just me, but I prefer links to open in a new tab...that way I can leave a page open if I want to go back and read more closely.

Like I say, it's probably just me.

That is all. Thanks for listening.

I did used to do that html thingy to open in a new window, but I was assuming that most folks just right clicked on posts and "Open in new tab" now with the addition of tabs. As a matter of fact, I actually suggest exactly what you are advocating to new bloggers.

Wanna take a poll to see if everyone knows to right click?

CJ knows how to right-click but sometimes forgets to do so. Just sayin'

Funny, TD! Reeeeel funny...

Just so you'll know, some people do not know about right clicking.

Especially the more novice blog readers. Kinda like me. (He says as he smacks himself on the head for NEVER thinking about that.)

Like I said...just a suggestion.

Andy, I never did it either until I upgraded to IE7 and then to Firefox.

For those of you on a MacApple, those are called BROWSERS.

ChristinaJade said...

Taking that personally. :)
