Let's see, the New York Times article on Rafael Nidal at Wimbledon links The LA Times, The Guardian, the BBC, The Boston Globe, and this here blarqs.

I am so ashamed.
Please take the time to comment.
The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin, Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd.

Hella link. But...no comments? At all? Did your stat counter notice a bump?
.
No bump on traffic this week, Oregon Guy. I am averaging around ten thousand hits a day right now because of the naked soccer chick from two weeks ago.
And I am beginning to think that blog commenting is about dead across the board. Weird.
Blog commenting is not dead. It's just morphing in to a source of conversation between blog (or non virtual) friends.
In a way it is dying, though. When you see a post with 287 comments, I mean...why even throw your two cents in?
E-mail, and the "reply all" deal kinda got somewhat replaced by the blog conversation. But, when you are headed in to big-time traffic territory, I figure that the traffic will dwarf the comments. Just my two cents.
As to this post...You own The New York Times. Be proud, young man! This has happened a couple of times recently. If my rememberer is correct, the last time it had something to do with ObozO's Auntie, or Grandma, or something.
Congratulations!
BTW: I'm still trying to figure out what that dang tree is!!!
Paul, Congratulations! But I do understand you being a bit squeamish about being in the same list as those guys. For what it's worth, you've got a lot more credibility with me than those asshats.
Andy, I agree. I don't feel like adding my comment to a thread of 200 others. It's almost like talking to yourself. I do enjoy reading comments, and sometimes go on down a long list pretty far, but I never add anything.
Any reasoning behind their choice of blogs? I ask, because there's a Canadian Leftist Retard (redundancy intentional) who gets picked up on that site all the time and pretends it's because he's an "authority". In fact, he's only an authority on the use of the word "cunt" to describe conservative grandmothers.

As far as why the NYT would link what they did about Nadal is beyond me. I wrote, "Rafael Nadal is a HOMO. WITH KITTIES!"
Figure that shit out!
Even if some comment threads number into the hundreds, there are occasions when I feel compelled to add my two cents, since the comment at that point--while lost in the numbers--is going to be read by somebody on the website; the poster.
Curiously, the most hits I get as a result of searches is "Fred Thompson As Disney Character."
Go figure.(And they say sex sells.)
.
Oregon Guy, the most hits I get are on Google searches for "Midget Wrestling," and "Don't trust the Chinese."
Mine is "larissa riquelme nude" by FAR. Like one million times more than anything else. Far back in second is "rima fakih nude."
Go figger.
Barry the Barbarian, the NYT only links crap. You need to lower the quality of your posts somewhat to make the Times.
So do you think that if you listed Elena Kagan nude, the NYT would carry it, and the blogisphere would implode?
*my eyes, my eyes...gyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!*
Skunks, thanks for making me think about her naked. I needed to puke up my spleen.
