Teh Google, Teh Interblarks, and Teh Moneymaking

Google in 1998, showing the original logoImage via WikipediaIt seems that every person that I know is suffering the huge detrimental effects of Obamanomics these days. I see this in the fact that hordes of people are making big moves to monetize their blogs, as others move to take positions that are more stable and provide more familial income. Lean government intellect makes for lean economic times, folks.

Such is always the case when Democrats make policy. Democrats are stupid, you know? As a disclaimer, there are some stupid Republicans, too, otherwise, we would have never wound up with The McCainiac as our nominee in the race against the weakest candidate EVER nominated by the Democrats.

But, this post is not about how sandpoundingly stupid Democrats are, we all know that. This post is about Teh Google and making money.

Since the money that we are seeking is being found less and less in Obama's America, we better get used to using the new Translate function of Teh Google.

Plus, all of the money-making gurus keep telling me that I have to build a list of folks. With this blakx, the conversation is the most important thing to me and making money is no different. Teh Google is making that conversation easier with the audience input function in Google Sites and Moderator.

Teh Google has also upped their game considerably with the comments upgrades with spam filtering. Since we took the word verification off of these comments, we have received four total spam comments that the filter caught. We have received ZERO spam comments that the filter MISSED. My math might be a little screwed up, but that seems like 100% success to me.

Teh Google Small Business Blog is LIVE, too! So far, this blog is mainly about Google Docs increasing use across the United States, but I am sure that it shall become more than that in the future.

As a matter of fact, the Small Business Blog had the latest news on Sites and Docs, first.

The Docs blog has info on the news search function in G-Mail to help you find apps and documents. And another post about Spreadsheets spelling function. You can also add Google Finance stuff to Spreadsheets.

If you have taken to using Buzz, you can now add a G-Mail group of those folks that you follow. You might want to create you own Buzz Group, though.

Teh Google Calendar now syncs with Outlook, for all of you living in the last century.
Linux users can now video chat, too. This is a good thing because it is not like y'all have REAL FRIENDS.

With the Droid X, I have started to use the Mobile App for Maps. The GPS function is somewhat creepy, though.

Another reason the X was so awesome is because I never typed a damned thing. Teh Google is making that even easier. Holy crap, dude, it was already too damned easy!

Plus, Chrome to Phone is going to be heavily used in the MoM area.

As a blogger, I have added so many links to this and other sites, it is unreal. Coding those links by my damned self. NO MORE shall I ever do that with this Firefox add on that does "Copy as html link."

FINALLY! A Teh Google movie is the works. Y'all know how much I lurve me some Google Moonbat Founders, too. I'll camp out to be the first in line for this one.

Before the movie comes out, read the danged book. I have read this one at least four times already. It gets better every time, too.

Please take the time to comment.

Thanks for the info once again. Dude, at current count, the Spam filter has stopped 26 comments.

Gooble is 26-0! Every stinkin' one of 'em is spam...not one hiccup. Those guys are good.

I am seeing the very same thing. But, in the defense of Wordpress, they are catching all of the spam comments, too.

Looks like I'm gonna have to go into another line of work now that these platforms have got my spammin' biz all figgered out.

Sigh.

Double opt in, Hoss. Then it ain't spamming.

I finally got me some spam! Yay!

Oh, wait. I hate spam. I love SPAM® but hate spam.

Anyway, I finally got some spam. And the spam filter caught it.

Batting 1.000 for me.

Basil, the weird thing about the Blogger spam filter is that I am now getting the notification like it is a comment that got through. And I changed nothing.

Yet, it is still 1.000 for me, too.

Yeah, you get the e-mail if it's not over 14 days. But, the comment doesn't post.

I go ahead and check, but none of them have posted yet. This is good.

Yeah, I guess the logic is that you need to check to see if it should post. That's how WordPress does with its moderation queue. But not with the spam queue.

I guess since Blogger only has one queue, they still notify. I prefer the WordPress method of two queues.
